Kim's Game

AIM To practise describing objects
LEVEL Elementary and above
TIME 20 minutes
PROCEDURE
•
 Put students into groups
•
 Show each group the picture for exactly 10 seconds
•
 Groups work to compile a list of all the objects they remember from the picture
•
 Groups swap lists for marking, teacher shows picture again to enable the groups to mark the list of the other group
•
 Teacher rounds up and elicits and lists all the objects on the board, including as much descriptive language as possible
